What’s New at Nassau Equestrian Summer 2011
During a very busy Spring, Mr. John Russo and his team have made giant strides improving the property and are looking forward to sharing NEC with students this summer. Since the last NEC Newsletter, the top barn has been renovated and new gardens have been made. As long as winter was we managed to get through it, the rings were all plowed right after every snow fall and with our all weather footing riding was available all winter, Summer 2010 promises to be filled with activities for every equestrian discipline and age group. Whether it’s Pony Pals or camp , Nassau Equestrian Center wants to make everyone’s 2012 a summer to remember!
Well, the cold of winter is finally gone and Nassau Equestrian Center is abuzz with activity in its first spring as a fully operational equestrian village. With the bloom of the flowers also comes a whole host of equestrian activities for riders of all levels and disciplines.
We are excited and proud to announce that polo professional Christian Vasquez is moving himself and his polo string to Nassau this spring. With this comes the excitement of polo tournaments hosted right here on NEC’s very own polo field. Christian will also be offering polo lessons to riders who are interested in learning the ins and outs of this exciting and challenging game. Whether you wish to become competitive or just try something different, polo lessons will improve your skills and confidence no matter what discipline you ride!
Spring means new beginnings, and what better way to kick off the heart of riding season than by joining our lesson program that is always adding new horses (who are also available for lease)! These proven professionals can provide riders of all abilities with a fantastic learning experience.
