Have you always wanted to learn how to ride horses?
Are you a avid rider who is hoping to ride through your college years?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, then this is the club for you!
The Old Westbury Equestrian Club is open to students, faculty and staff who enjoy riding and learning about horses.
Each week members of the club have a one hour group riding lesson at their level.Lessons are given at a siginifcant discout to the club at $40.00 per hour.Learn to ride with other people just beginning their journey with horses, or join a more advanced group if you have riding experience. Lessons take place right here at Nassau Equestrian Center, just 5 minutes from campus and transportation is provided.
We have meetings twice a month to discuss horsemanship, watch training videos and or listen to guest speakers.
The club has an excellent library of equine related material and all club members are welcome to barrow books.
